Preferred and Prime Platforms
The advisor-directed fee-based platforms are called Preferred Asset Management (Preferred) and Prime Asset Management (Prime). Other than ticket charges and client fees, Preferred and Prime are identical. Investment Advisor Representatives (IARs) have a choice in selecting the platform as well as an option to discount their fees. Both programs are held at Pershing and offer innovative features and competitive pricing structures. More than 40,000 securities and 6,000 mutual funds can be utilized.
MAP Program
MAP is a our separately managed account program that allows IARs to outsource the management of assets to experienced Money Managers. MAP provides portfolio customization, account transparency, cost efficiency and the ability to consolidate Quarterly Reports with our other platform accounts. Through the MAP, IARs receive ongoing support and can utilize Technical Analysts, Strategic Investment Research Group and a MAP website for creating proposals, investment selections, performance and more.
SmartSelect Program
SmartSelect is our turnkey mutual fund wrap program designed for IARs who want to maximize their time with clients. The asset allocation, mutual fund due diligence and selection, trading, rebalancing and administration are provided within the program. IARs can select from 10 model portfolios to pursue their clients’ investment objectives, five allocation models with municipal bond funds and five allocation models without municipal bond funds.
